150th anniversary
The anniversary programme
Events run from June 2026 through a closing banquet in spring 2027. If you would like to help with any of them, reach out to co-chairs Deb Hatch and Kelly James.
Sticks & Stones
A one-day event: nine holes of golf and an eight-end curling game. Lunch at the golf club, dinner at the curling club.
Joint spiel with Peterborough
A cumulative club score over two days decides the winner — bragging rights and a trophy on the line. We are hoping it becomes an annual fixture.
Lindsay Christmas Parade float
After the success of this year’s floats, we are back in the parade. Nancy Graham already has ideas.
150 Ends of Curling
The main event, 150 years to the month since ten Lindsay curlers formed the club in December 1876.
Curling Day in Canada
Back bigger and better, with a full year to prepare for the Shootout. Practise your shots to the button.
Closing banquet
The whole club together to end the birthday celebrations with a bang.
Commemorative quilt & merchandise
Work on the quilt is underway, ready for the downtown events the club takes part in. 150th logo clothing, glassware and mugs are available — speak to Dave Nigh.
